Welcome to Explore The Word! The apostle Paul wrote to a young man named Timothy, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – II Timothy 2:15. Throughout the Explore The Word studies that is what we will do. We are going to study or explore God’s word to better understand the Bible’s great truths.

The Bible is a book of principles and themes, woven together like threads in a tapestry. To see the full picture, we must understand how these threads run throughout Scripture. This booklet contains seven lessons that highlight and connect these key principles. Each lesson is designed to be completed in under an hour. Each person should have a copy of this study, a pen or pencil and most importantly, a Bible (King James Version). After each scripture is read, participate by completing that section in the lesson.
