Pentecostal Symposium
Volume I
Apostolic doctrine was the foundation of the early church from the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:42). The cornerstone is the revelation of Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:20). However, Christ revealed the sign of the last days is deception (Matt. 24:4). The apostles also warned in their writings of doctrinal apostasy in the last days (1 Tim. 3:15-16; 4:1-3). Now, there is an ecumenical movement that covets to destroy the church that is pure in doctrine and spirituality. That movement is subtly calling the Jesus’ name church to mix with the trinitarians. The search for the applause of the Trinitarian academy should never be the desire of the Pentecostal people. Moreover, in many cases the impulse inflated numbers in the congregations has taken the principal place of apostolic truth. Even the biblical text is under attack with the embrace of versions that have omitted many verses of the New Testament. It is our duty to put the trumpet to the mouth and warn of the present and coming threats. This is what the speakers have done in a practical way in this international symposium. The reader will find strong topics on theology, Christology, theological controversies of the early centuries (A.D., soteriology, the Greek text of the New Testament, and more.
